“When our company was going through a major merger last year, PReP Intl really came through when internal talent management options were not working fast enough.”
“With PReP intl, we were able to fill critical operations openings in less than three weeks with certified, experienced professionals. They fit right in, added immediate value, and improved our departments’ readiness, reliability, and flexibility.”
“As Entergy transitions to MISO, we needed additional staff as an adjunct to traditional internal career development. We’re thrilled to have an agreement with PReP Intl that will ensure support for the next 18-36 months.”
After a career as an Air Traffic Controller for the Navy and FAA, I began growing my ops career in Southern California before needing a change of pace. PReP Intl engaged me with Entergy in Texas, supporting Ops in Arizona, then helping me staff a new wind BA team in San Francisco. PReP Intl knows real-time Ops, and helps professionals launch, grow, and extend their professional careers.
Integrating real time communications with distribution and transmission is the key to vigilance, agility and resilience. PReP Intl brought me from wireless and telecom into energy technology in real-time.
After 10 years with one public power entity and another 12 years with a major municipal utility, PReP Intl introduced me to the leadership teams of one of most innovative, creative Consumer Choice Aggregators in the country. As the Deputy Director of Marketing, Communications and Outreach, I have found an ideal role with a dynamic team, changing the way energy technology builds community.
After a career in the Navy, tooling around as a contractor in Iraq, a bus driver with a rock-n-roll band, Matt and PReP Intl took a chance on me. They sponsored me for a temp-to-regular NERC system ops role. I earned my NERC/PJM certs, transitioned to full-time and today serve my city and community as Manager of Transmission Ops. PReP Intl has since helped me rebuild my entire team with Vets, Grads and Pros.
After college I was lucky to launch my career in Right of Way (ROW) and learn about critical land-use planning for community and utility growth. After six years of basic blocking and tackling with a major utility, PReP Intl brought me a great opportunity to leverage my experience and grow my career. In the past 7+ years, we’ve grown a $40M+ Division and I am now the EVP of a major ROW leader integrating renewables.
When I transitioned out of the Navy in 2012, I passed my NERC RC exam on my first attempt. I learned a bit about real-time operations in WTX. PReP Intl helped me land a system operator role closer to family in Virginia. In the next 4-5 years, I grew as an operator in Kentucky and have found Matt and PReP Intl helpful every step of the way — in growing my career and introducing the profession to dozens of vets.
When I got out of the Navy, I was not quite sure what I was going to do next. In a short time, I began working with Matt, helping train system operators and managers improve reliability across NA. In time, I earned my NERC Cert, learned about real time ops and markets in Ohio. Now I lead training & real-time T&D ops across New York State. PReP Intl has helped me and dozens of Vets and Pros transition our careers!
After years in many rich leadership roles, PReP Intl brought me to the greatest opportunity of my professional life: leading the planning, design and execution of a smart grid with San Jose, Google and PG&E.
SMART Cities are coming.
Our management team has experience training with over 18,000 electric utility system operators and engineers in more than 1,100 energy organizations across the world.
